Tecno has come a long way from being known mainly for affordable smartphones. In 2026, the company has a much broader lineup, with the CAMON series focusing heavily on cameras, the POVA range leaning toward performance and large batteries, SPARK models covering more affordable price points, and PHANTOM devices sitting at the premium end. That gives buyers quite a few options, but it can also make choosing the right phone less straightforward.
This year’s lineup also shows how quickly Tecno’s priorities are changing. The company has been putting more attention into AI features, higher-quality displays, more phones with 5G network, and designs that would have appeared as unusual on its older phones.
The recently introduced CAMON Slim 5G, for example, combines a very slim 6.39mm body with a 6,000mAh battery, a 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display and a 50MP Sony camera. Meanwhile, the POVA 8 Pro 5G brings a 144Hz AMOLED display and AI-powered call features to the performance-focused POVA family.
With so many models available, the best Tecno phones in 2026 will depend on what you actually want from a smartphone. Some models make more sense for photography, while others are better suited to gaming, long battery life or simply getting a good phone without spending too much. In this guide, we look at the top Tecno phones to buy today and highlight what makes each one worth considering so lets jump into the list.
