All we had up till now of Black Shark – a gaming smartphone supported by the Xiaomi brand – was a couple of leaks and an image that shows off the back of the device. Today, we see even more images that give us a better insight into what we should be expecting at the time of launch later this month.
From the front side that we have just seen, it is almost impossible to tell if the screen will be making use of the 18:9 or 16:9 aspect ratio. However, it doesn’t look elongated at all so it might as well be the latter. The bezels on the side of the screen are thin but those on the top and bottom don’t share the same features.
On the bottom bezels is a home button like the one we see on Samsung Galaxy smartphones. Since there is no biometric sensor cut-out on the back, this home button is likely to come with a fingerprint sensor underneath it.
On the screen, some of the icons that can be seen confirm that this device will retain some of the core features that can be found in MIUI. The phone is also seen to be suitable for one hand use. Perhaps more interesting is the box in the background of the images which shows a Bluetooth controller.
Remember that this add-on leaked with the initial backside picture of the device we got. That confirms the addition of support for an even immersive gaming experience.
With official sales of the smartphone set to start on the 20th of April, interested users can make reservations on JD.com for now
