Black Shark rear panel leak shows off detachable Bluetooth module

Black Shark has promised us the debut of its gaming smartphone in the market by Friday and we are looking forward to it, especially after everything we have heard the smartphone will be. In the past, we have had some images leak of the smartphone which the Xiaomi-backed company has come out to claim are all fake representations. Today though, we have a very clear shot of what seems to be the real unit’s back.

From what we are seeing, the back of the smartphone is a real beauty to behold. It also looks very sturdy and well-built, meaning it would be rugged and take falls better than most devices on the market. Perhaps the most interesting thing though is the attachment to the top of the device.

It almost looks like that will be a removable Bluetooth handle which may come complete with an analogue stick and cross keys.

We have already seen a teaser from the company in the past which suggests this might be the case. If that comes to fruition though, it will remind core gamers of the Nintendo Switch which packed a massive 7-inch screen and controllers on both sides.

One other thing noticeable on this rear panel is that there is no fingerprint scanner there – something we are sure is coming with the gaming device. That leaves one place where it can be placed – just under the 18:9 aspect ratio screen.

Expected to use the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8445 chipset and pack as much as 8GB of RAM, the Friday-bound device will undoubtedly run the latest Android 8 Oreo out of the box
