Google Pixel 9 Pro Spotted Live on New Leaked Images

Rumors abound about Google’s forthcoming hardware launch event in October, where it’s speculated that the tech giant will unveil three new smartphones: the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. Adding to the anticipation, recent murmurs suggest that the Pixel Fold 2 might join this lineup, now rebranded as the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Leaked hands-on live images of the Pixel 9 Pro have surfaced, offering a glimpse of its size in comparison to an iPhone 15 Pro Max. To clarify, the Pixel 9 Pro XL is rumored to succeed the Pixel 8 Pro in size, while the Pixel 9 Pro is expected to mirror the dimensions of the standard Pixel 9, albeit with additional Pro features such as the periscope telephoto rear camera showcased in these images.

Furthermore, details emerge regarding the Pixel 9 Pro’s specifications. It is purported to share a similar size to the iPhone 15 Pro and will feature the Tensor G4 chipset, along with a substantial 16GB of RAM manufactured by Micron—4GB more than its predecessor, the Pixel 8 Pro. The UFS storage on the Pixel 9 Pro is reportedly provided by Samsung, with expectations that the Pixel 9 series will also incorporate Samsung’s Exynos Modem 5400, boasting support for satellite connectivity.

Confirming previous rumors, the Pixel 9 Pro’s camera bump has undergone a redesign, moving away from the ‘visor’ style to adopt an oval shape that doesn’t extend to the edges. Additionally, the metal part at the end, housing the LED flash, appears to be larger. Notably, the Pixel 9 Pro sports a flat polished frame, adding to its sleek design aesthetic.
