Honor’s CEO, George Zhao has revealed that the Honor V30 series will launch on November 26, 2019. The CEO revealed this at a live-streamed show to officially launch its Single’s Day (11/11) Shopping Festival.
To confirm the November 26th launching, a couple of promotional images were spotted on Weibo from the company’s official account with an inscription that translates to “11.26 Beijing” meaning the device will be launched in the capital city of China.
Zhao disclosed that the Honor V30 series will come with support for 5G. This means that we should probably expect it to come at a slightly higher starting price than the Honor V20 series.
Asides from the 5G support, the V30 series will likely come with impressive cameras. The series will reportedly sport the “Camera Matrix” technology, a new algorithm. Both the Honor V30 and the V30 Pro will reportedly come with 60MP main cameras.
There have been good reports about the Camera Matrix technology. If these reports hold any water, then the Honor V30 may just unseat the Mate 30 Pro at the top of DxOMark’s list of phones with the best camera performance. Maybe even the Honor V30 Pro will take the crown.
So far, we have some details about the Honor V30. It will reportedly come with an LCD display with a punch hole. Powered by a 4,000mAh battery, the device is expected to support 22.5W fast charging. The Honor V30 Pro will reportedly come with even more impressive charging specs – with support for 40W wired fast charging and 15W wireless fast charging.
