One of the problems android users encounter most times with their android device is the problem of an app freezing, If you are having difficulty with one of your apps freezing or causing all sorts of other mischief, it is possible for you to force close the app with your Android device. Step 1: Locate your settings app, which looks like a gear icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and click on the Applications option.
Step 3: The first option you will see is Applications Manager. Click “Applications Manager.”
Step 4: Swipe your finger across the screen to the left until you are on the “Running” tab.
