Yesterday was when we saw the introduction of the Huawei Nova 3e in the OEM’s home market. today, they have gone ahead to launch a P20 Lite unit in Europe, and we believe this is the one that will make it to international markets. For those who do not know already, the P20 Lite is just the international version of the Nova 3e. However, it seems that the home market will enjoy much more than every other market.
For one, the Nova 3e was provided in a total of four colour options – Klein Blue, Midnight Black, Platinum Gold and Sakura Pink – to the users in Taiwan. For the international Huawei P20 Lite though, we are only being treated to all but the Platinum Gold.
If you decide to look past these aesthetics, you will find out that the P20 Lite comes with a 5.84-inch screen which is set at a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixel. It needs no telling that the aspect ratio will be 19:9 but we need to mention the top notch in the screen.
At the heart of operations is a Kirin 659 chipset which will work with a 4GB RAM. Native storage is set at 64GB and there is a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
The back of the phone is unique too, sporting a dual camera setup and fingerprint sensor too. The main sensor on the back is rated at 16MP which is then assisted by a smaller 2MP that would work on depth and detailing of your pictures.
Huawei will be looking to capture the attention of selfie lovers with their 24MP offering on the front too. Asides that, this front camera sensor can also be used to activate the facial recognition software which has been included for added security.
Finally, the P20 Lite will run on the latest Android 8 Oreo (adapted to be the EMUI 8.0) and carry a big 3000mAh battery too.
