Huawei is not only about mobile phones. The company also manufactures tablets. In respect of this, the Chinese giant has just launched its new tablet under its MediaPad series. This device, the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite comes with a big 10.1-inch display.

The device’s 10.1-inch screen features a Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200. It has an aspect ratio of 16:10.

The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite is powered by octa-core 2.4GHz Kirin 659 chipset. It comes in two variants – a 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage variant and a 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant. Both variants support storage expansion via microSD card.

On the software end, the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite runs on EMUI 8.0 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE (optional), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a USB Type-C port. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Huawei has been known to be a strong name when talking about smartphone cameras. In fact, the company’s P20 Pro got awarded best smartphone camera of 2018. However, unlike Huawei’s recently-released phones that have dual- or triple-camera setups, this tablet has a single 8MP camera on the rear and a single 8MP camera on the front. The MediaPad M5 Lite features surround sound. Ht comes with Harman Kardon quad-speakers featuring Huawei’s Histen 5.0 sound system.

Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite is powered by a 7,500mAh battery. comes with an aluminum body, and in Champagne Gold and Space Grey colors. This price is not yet known as at now.
