Over the past few weeks, Infinix has unveiled a good number of smartphones both in the low-end and in the mid-range category. After they recently made their debut into India with the Infinix Note 4 and the Hot 4 Pro, they went ahead to unveil the Infinix Smart with low price tag.
Update: Infinix Hot 5 is now available also the lite version; Infinix Hot 5 Lite. It was the Hot 5 Lite we were talking about in this post.
They are now teasing to launch what we have been told could be the Infinix Hot 5, a successor to the Infinix Hot 4 device. The Hot 5 device was recently seen on Geekbench listing with the codename: Infinix X559.
Going by the specifications that was listed on Geekbench, the purported Infinix Hot 5 will run on Android 7.0 Nougat and probably with Infinix XOS on top.
In the power house will be a Quad-core processor clocking with a speed of 1.3 GHz. System on Chip (SoC) will be a Mediatek MT6580 chipset. The device is listed with a small RAM of just 1GB, which makes us wonder if this will truly be the Hot 4’s successor.
We also have a peek of what the back of the Infinix Hot 5 X559 will look like, the back looks less busy with just the camera, LED flash and the Infinix watermark as its only occupants.
From the new render, the loud speaker drill could have been moved to the bottom bezel or anywhere else and if the device will have a fingerprint scanner, it will be in the front panel of the device. There’s also what could be a camera button at the right border, below the volume adjusters and the power button.
More information about the screen, camera, and battery capacity of the upcoming Infinix Hot 5 X559 will be posted as soon as we verify the information we have about the device.
