Coming back from a strong campaign for the Hot 6 line-up, we now have the Infinix Hot 7 series too. Like their predecessor, this version comes in multiple configurations, but we are not especially happy that Infinix won’t go with the waterdrop notch on the series.
Barring that, though, the Infinix Hot 7 Pro is worth every look we give it – and that is just what we are going to do today.

Infinix Hot 7 Pro Features Overview
If you used the last set of units in the Hot line-up, you might not see much of an improvement on the surface of this unit. Afterall, it features the same plastic back design, comes fitted with a notch on the front and even carries the same 6.2 inches screen. The main difference with the screen is that its pixilation has been changed to 720 x 1440.
However, we are proud to tell you that this seems to be about the point where all the similarities end. What the Infinix Hot 7 Pro might lack in an innovative design, it makes up for in interesting innards.
On the inside, every Hot 7 Pro is equipped with at least 2GB of RAM. You can choose to get the 3GB version too, but the 6GB option is where all the fun is. This can then be paired with either 32/ 64 GB of internal storage space, not even minding the fact that there is a microSD card slot in there for you.
We would have loved to get a reboot of the Snapdragon processor on this one like we had on the Hot 6X, but it seems that was not to be. Anyways, we did get the same 13MP + 2MP camera sensor on the back as last year’s unit. Before you cry wolf, the huge improvement on the Infinix Hot 7 Pro is in the selfie camera being a dual setup of 13MP and 2MP which has its own LED flash too.
It wouldn’t be a worthy 2019 phone if it didn’t come with a face unlock system, and it betters that by including the fingerprint sensor on the back of the Hot 7 Pro device. We are happy about that, but less happy that the same 4000mAh battery from last year made it onto this phone.
Released in March, you can get your preferred Infinix Hot 7 Pro in colours of Midnight Black, Mocha Brown, Bordeaux Red and Aqua Blue
Infinix Hot 7 Pro price and availability
Infinix has a habit of making their phones available almost immediately after launch, if not immediately. Thus, we are happy to let you know that you can pick up your preferred configuration of the Infinix Hot 7 Pro in stores – both offline and online.
Depending on the option you will be going for, you can get the unit between the prices of NGN44,000 – NGN48,000.

Infinix Hot 7 Pro Best Alternatives
You can choose from the Infinix Hot 6, Hot 6X or Hot 6 Pro line-up from last year if you don’t feel the Hot 7 Pro is something for you right now. Likewise, the Pro has a standard brother named Hot 7 which you could check out.
But then, you don’t have to stick with the Infinix line when you can branch out and try the all-new Tecno Camon 11 instead.
