When Infinix first started out with the Hot line up of devices, Infinix Hot 7 was supposed to be the entry level option for those who didn’t have all the purchasing power that Zero devices commanded nor wanted the power that came with the Note series.
Today, that notion does not hold water anymore – and that is as cemented by the all-new, powerful Hot 7. Thankfully, the device sees a pro version; Hot 7 Pro which might do better in terms of internal storage.
Looking under the hood, Infinix has learnt a lot from the other units in this series to make what can be dubbed the ultimate improvement. How about we take a peek at what makes this unit as amazing as we think it is?

Infinix Hot 7 Features Overview
The first thing you will notice on the Infinix Hot 7 is its amazing 6.2-inch screen which gives you all the display real estate you might want. Standing at this height doesn’t make the phone much bulky in the hands though, all thanks to the new 19:9 aspect ratio in use by many smartphones today.
If you are interested in the Hot 7, you will be given the chance to get it in two different options – either you go for the pairing that brings 2GB of RAM on top of 32GB internal storage space, or opt for the 1GB RAM + 16GB ROM configuration.
No matter which one of these you choose, you are treated to the impressive 8MP selfie camera carefully nested in the notch, and a dual camera sensor setup (13MP each) on the back. Fortunately, the front camera doubles as a facial recognition software, offering improved biometrics on top of the fingerprint scanner on the back.
For your other security needs, you can still make do with the combination of traditional password or PIN on the Infinix Hot 7. That has been around for a while now, and it will stay reliable if you use it well.
For those who would love to get their hands on one of the Infinix Hot 7 units, you will be given the choice of either Sandstone Black, Sapphire Blue, Blush Gold or Bordeaux Red finishes.
Of course, the colours you will get will be dependent on what dealer you are buying from, and the market you happen to find yourself in too.
Rounding off the spec sheet with the programming of Android 8 Oreo and inclusion of a 4000mAh battery, Infinix Hot 7 is the hottest Infinix unit in the Hot series right now.
