The Infinix Hot 8 comes with Android Pie out of the box, with the brand’s XOS on top. The Tecno Spark 4 is also pre-installed with Android Pie but comes with HiOS 5.5. Both devices come with AI capabilities that work especially with their camera features.

The Infinix Hot 8 and Tecno Spark 4 are packed with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. You can expand the storage of the Hot 8 by up to 128GB via a microSD card. It hosts a quad-core 2.0GHz Cortex-A53 processor. The Spark 4’s storage is also expandable via a microSD card by up to 128GB, and it hosts the same processor as the Hot 8.

Camera

For photography, both the Infinix Hot 8 and the Tecno Spark 4 host an impressive 13MP triple-camera setup on the back. They also both have 8MP selfie shooters with selfie flash, AI capabilities, HDR, Panorama. Both devices come with Face Unlock capability which works using the selfie camera.

The main difference between the two devices when it comes to camera setup is that while the Tecno Spark 4 hosts dual-LED flash, the Infinix Hot 8 enjoys quad-LED flash.

Battery and Extras

When it comes to the battery department, the Infinix Hot 8 comes with a massive 5,000mAh non-removable battery. It has a standby time of 35 days and talk time of 33 hours. The Tecno Spark 4 only gets a smaller 4,000mAh battery, but is not all that less impressive.

The Infinix Hot 8 and Tecno Spark 4 are two phones that you can buy that will not break the bank. Even though they are budget phones, they both offer sleek designs. Running Android 9 Pie may be off the table for some. However, the OS is not exactly out of fashion.
