Infinix Note 40S Features and Images Revealed Before the Official Launch

Following the Infinix Note 40 and the Note 40 Pro, the Infinix Note 40S is set to be launched sometime in July 2024 with new images of the device being showcased on Infinix official website. The posting also revealed what to expect from the Note 40S and it quite similar to that of its Note 40 siblings in terms of phone specifications.

Some eye-catching features on the upcoming Note 40S includes the JBL-tuned stereo speakers, discreet LED flash light or the Active Halo Design, IP54 ingress protection against dust and splashes and the wireless charging support, up to 20W which is not bad for a smartphone in this range.

Infinix Note 40S offers slightly less sophisticated spec-sheet, coming with a 6.78 inches AMOLED FHD display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen houses the fingerprint reader for the device and curves to the sides just like we saw on the Note 40 Pro device.

On the camera side, Infinix Note 40S gets the same 108MP rear camera with another 2MP depth sensor camera, sitting at the front is the regular 32MP shooter for selfies and video chat. On the inside, Dimensity 7020 SoC in Note 40 Pro was ditched for the MediaTek Helio G99 which is less powerful than the former, available in just 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM variant.

Powering the device is the same 5000 mAh battery as seen on the previous Note 40 series, but the Note 40S comes with lesser charging power with just 33W as compared to the 100W we saw in Infinix Note 40 Pro. No 0 to 100% charge in 35 minutes this time around.

Price and availability is yet to be disclosed but will be announced as we get more information regarding the Note 40S price in Nigeria.
