We had a sneak at the Innjoo Max 3 a while ago from a promotional video that was released by Innjoo on there official YouTube channel, there were no revelations on the specs nor its price, only few features like Fingerprint technology and large screen display were ascertained from the video. It was during the launching that we learnt that there will be a base and pro version of the Max 3.
The Innjoo Max 3 Pro offers the same all metal design as the base model. It measures 8.6 mm thin with a fingerprint sensor sitting at the back, the huge display is protected by a 2.5D diamond cut glass with full lamination. The Max 3 devices are available in Gold, Rose Gold, and Metallic Grey colours.
The Innjoo Max 3 and Max 3 pro offers the same display features and camera, front of the device is dominated by a 6.0 inches IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution leaving the PPI at just 244 pixel, this is not the best resolution size for a 6-incher.
At the upper bezel of the screen panel is an 8 megapixels camera for selfies and video calls, the front camera supports autofocus, which is not very common in most midrange smart phones. The front camera of the base model (Max 3) does not support autofocus.
At the back, the Innjoo Max 3 Pro offers a 13 megapixels camera placed just above the fingerprint scanner, the camera features a dual-LED flashlight and autofocus. Even though we expected the Max 3 to come with Android 6.0 marshmallow, the phone runs on Android 5.1 lollipop with the Inn User Interface.
For internals, the Innjoo Max 3 and Max 3 pro uses the same MediaTek MT6735P with a 1.0GHz quad-core processor. However, Max 3 pro offers a generous 3GB RAM while Max 3 offers a 2GB RAM. Both devices offer super fast 4G LTE network option and supports dual micro SIM standby mode.
Unlike the Max 3 that uses a 16GB of internal storage space, the Max 3 pro comes with 32GB built-in storage, which you can upgrade by up to 128GB with a microSD card. They also supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi/direct hotspot, and FM radio. The Max 3 and Max 3 Pro sports a 4,000 mAh Li-Po Battery with a promise of up to 19 hours talktime with a single charge.
These phablet-sized devices are available in Nigeria and you can buy them from leading online stores. Innjoo Max 3 Pro Price is set around 159 USD which shakes off about N51,000 in Nigeria, Max 3 is priced at 153 USD (N49,000).
Few differences between the Innjoo Max 3 & Max 3 pro.
Innjoo Max 3 pro is not extensively different from the base version, both phones are the same in every other aspects apart from Internal storage space and RAM where the Max 3 pro was given a 32GB and 3GB and Max 3 was graced with 16GB and 2GB ROM and RAM respectively. There’s also a minor difference in front camera features; auto focus feature is absent in the base model.
