Lenovo launched the S5 in March, and fans have been waiting for the Pro version of the device. The wait seems to be near its end as the company has announced the launch of the Lenovo S5 Pro to take place on October 18. One of the major highlights of the S5 Pro is that it will sport a dual-front-camera setup. This device was spotted on TENAA, revealing all its features and specifications.
Lenovo took to Weibo to publish an invite poster for the arrival of the S5 Pro in China on October 18. The poster, which shows an outline of the device, confirms the presence of two cameras on the front. This is an improvement over the Lenovo S5 which sports only one front camera.
According to its listing on TENAA, the Lenovo S5 Pro (with model number L58041) will sport a 6.18-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2246 pixels. This display has an aspect ratio of 19:9. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo, and is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor. The S5 will come in three memory variants – a 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant, a 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant, and a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option. The internal memory is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the rear of the device is a dual-camera setup, with a 20MP shooter and a 12MP shooter aided by an LED flash. The front of the S5 also features a dual-camera setup, with a 20MP shooter and an 8MP shooter. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi ac and GPS. The device has a fingerprint scanner on the rear. It may come in color variants including Black, White, Red, Gold and Silver variants. It will be powered by a 3,500mAh battery.
