More Details on Tecno Spark (Tecno Spark K7 and Tecno Spark Plus K9)

Some days back, we published an exclussive post about a new Tecno phone series called Tecno Spark. In the post, we hinted that there may be two version of the phone.

The new Tecno Sparks has been confirmed to be Tecno Spark K7 and its pro version called Tecno Spark Plus K9.

Tecno hopes to capture the youth market with their new spark series as the phones come in affordable prices with a well thought out design that is aimed to resonate with the youths.

The design of the devices has been likened to that iPhones.

Both devices feature about the same specs, design and features, with the major differences being in the screen size, processor, battery an RAM.

Spark Plus K9 will come with 6.0-inch display, 2GB RAM, 3400 mAh battery and a processor speed of 1.5GHz. While the Spark K7 will come with 5.5-inch display, 1GB RAM, 3000 mAh battery and a processor speed of 1.3GHz.

Tecno Mobile is yet to confirm the launch date of the Tecno K7 and the Tecno K9 and their respective prices, but we expect them to hit the market this August and will likely go on sale on Jumia first once launched.
