New Moto G64 5G Revealed on Google Play Console With 12GB RAM version

Recently, Motorola has been actively expanding its smartphone lineup, especially within the Moto G series, by unveiling the Moto G Power 5G (2024) and Moto G (2024). Additionally, the brand is building anticipation for its soon-to-be-released Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion models, anticipated to launch around April 3.

Amid these announcements, a new addition to the Moto G series, the Moto G64 5G, has been quietly making its way into the spotlight.

The Moto G64 5G was detected on the Google Play Console, revealing key specifications. It is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset, a 5G-capable, 6nm processor launched in 2023, originally known as the Dimensity 930. This chipset features two Cortex-A78 cores with speeds up to 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores up to 2.0 GHz, supported by an IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. The listing on Google Play Console indicates the Moto G64 5G will be available in two variants, one with 8GB of RAM and another with 12GB.

Although the exact size of the display remains undisclosed, it’s known to sport a FullHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a pixel density of 400 ppi. The device image also showcases a selfie camera housed in a punch-hole cutout, and volume and power buttons positioned on the right side.

Interestingly, a device with identical specifications, presumably the Moto G64y 5G, appeared on the Google Play Console a few days earlier, but has since been removed. This might suggest an update in the device’s naming convention. It remains to be seen how this new model will stand out compared to its predecessor, the Moto G54, which shares several similarities.

While details are still emerging, we’re committed to keeping you updated on any new information about the Moto G64 5G as it becomes available.
