Yesterday, there was news that the vivo iQOO Neo with model number V1936AL was benchmarked at Master Lu, Chinese benchmarking platform. However, instead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset, the device is coming with the Snapdragon 855+ chipset.
Now, the same device with model number V1936AL has appeared on the Android Enterprise website. This means that not only do we have the name and picture of the phone, we also have some more specs.
A kind of convolution, however, is the fact that the model number is similar to that of the vivo iQOO Neo 855 with model number V1936A. Some of the features of both devices are also similar. For example, the phone has an identical 6.4-inch screen. It also runs Android Pie, coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. But, there is no NFC.
Vivo’s iQOO series is the brand’s gaming series, and a new addition with Snapdragon 855+ will not be out of place. If indeed the new device will sport the Snapdragon 855+ SoC, it will be closer to the vivo iQOO Pro. This Pro version, however, has 12GB of RAM. It supports 44W fast charging.
It is only a matter of time before all the exact details of the device are clear. While we wait, let us know in the Comments section below, what you think about it.
