Again, the launch was expected on October 11, but the company made the Nokia 3.1 Plus official instead. This means that we have to keep waiting for the launch of the Nokia 7.1 Plus.
As usual, new leaks continue to surface online. This time around, the Nokia 7.1 Plus has been spotted on Geekbench. According to the listing on Geekbench, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset. It will run Android 8.1 Oreo and come with up to 6GB of RAM. It is speculated that there will be a 4GB variant as well.
According to past leaks, the Nokia 7.1 Plus will feature a 6.18-inch full-HD+ (1080×2246 pixels) TFT display with an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. It will come with 4GB/6GB RAM options and 64GB/128GB internal storage options. The device is expected to come with a dual-camera setup on the rear with a 13MP primary shooter and a 12MP secondary shooter. It will feature a 20MP front camera for selfie lovers. This phone is expected to sport a small display notch as well as a substantial chin. It will feature a rear-mounted circular fingerprint sensor. The Nokia 7.1 Plus will be powered by a 3,400mAh battery. It may be launched in two color variants – a Silver shade and a Brownish shade.
HMD Global recently took to Weibo to confirm that the Nokia 7.1 Plus will be launched in China on October 16. The company even bragged about the phone’s camera capabilities under low light conditions. We can only wait till launch to confirm. It appears that the company plans to launch the device in China first, and then launch it globally at a later date.
