Nokia 7.2 Render...

Last month, we got a glimpse of an upcoming device from HMD. It eventually became evident that this device was the Nokia 7.2. Now, this upcoming mid-range device has just passed through Geekbench and we have seen some of its key specs.

One of the major highlights of the Nokia 7.2 is that it comes with 6GB RAM. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm chipset clocked at 1.84GHz. This chipset could be the Snapdragon 710. The Nokia 7.2 will run Android 9 Pie.

The benchmark results put the Nokia 7.2 on par with other mid-range smartphones like the Realme 3i. It scored 1,604 points on the single-core test and 5,821 points on the multi-core test.

There have already been leaks of the Nokia 7.2 earlier. These leaks show that the device will sport a triple camera setup with the three cameras in a circular module. The main camera will be a 48MP shooter.

According to the leaks, the Nokia 7.2 will come with a 6.2-inch FHD+ display with a waterdrop notch. There will be a fingerprint sensor on the rear. The device will get juice from a 3,500mAh battery.

We expect HMD to announce the Nokia 7.2 at IFA Berlin on September 6.
