OnePlus launched the OnePlus 6T on Monday, October 29, 2018. This was after the initial launch date of October 30 was changed. The device is now available for sale, with a starting price of $549 (about 200,000 Naira) for the base variant of 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. This price is quite low compared to other Android flagships with similar specs from other companies.
The OnePlus 6T, coming as a follow-up to the OnePlus 6, features a refined design with a teardrop notch. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor, and its specs are top-notch. In addition, this phone is the first from OnePlus to work on Verizon’s network.
The camera of the OnePlus 6T is generally not as good as that of the Google Pixel 3 or some other flagships out there, but it’s still amazing. Some other facts of note are the lack of wireless charging and omission of rated water resistance. If you are looking for these features, then you may not want to go for the OnePlus 6T, even with the relatively low price. However, that price is tempting enough to make many people overlook these compromises.
You can buy the OnePlus 6T directly from OnePlus. For those living outside of the United States, buying direct is probably the best option if you want the matte black finish.
