OnePlus 7 Pro

oneplus 7 pro image

For the first time ever, OnePlus launched more than one unit at the same event, and that’s where this OnePlus 7 Pro was born. For a company who is known to develop only flagship units, the work they have done with this 7 Pro at the price they are launching it at is nothing short of impressive.

There is a lot to talk about when it comes to the 7 Pro. Do we look at the motorized selfie camera first, or go all the way to talk about the nice additions to the OS?

Whatever we do, the inside of his unit stays as beautiful as the outside. Here’s what we know so far about this device, and we have no doubt you’ll love it too.

OnePlus 7 Pro Features Overview

Taking a first look at the OnePlus 7 Pro will leave you mesmerized at how well the 6.67-inch screen stands up well against the overall form factor.

Inside this screen is a 1440 x 3120-pixel resolution which displays all the colours just right, and it finishes that up with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 technology for the best protection there is. The front of the unit might look like it doesn’t hold much after this, but we can attribute the selfie camera here too.

Instead of going the notch way like many other OEMs, OnePlus decided to keep the bezels thinner by putting a single 16MP snapper into a motorized pop-up unit on the front. Going around the back, they don’t disappoint as they brought the same glass treatment for a premium feel.

What they did better than that was to introduce an amazing triple camera setup which contains a main 48MP unit, an 8MP telephoto lens and a final 16MP snapper for ultra-wide snapping purposes. It gets better. Going beneath all that fine flesh, you get a top of the line Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset which is paired with either 6GB, 8GB or 12GB of RAM.

While your choice of RAM should be dependent on how much of a heavy user you are, you should also consider how much storage you need. This is because the 6GB model only allows you to have 128GB of storage while you can have as much as 256GB on the other models.

Irrespective of your RAM and storage needs, you get the same 4000mAh battery under the hood of this device. The battery is equipped with an impressive 30W fast charging capability which means you don’t have to wait too long to get the juices up.

Lest we forget, Android 9 Pie is the choice OS here, all based on the in-house Oxygen OS 9.

OnePlus 7 Pro price and availability

While there are already some OnePlus 7 Pro units out there, the device is not yet commercially available. The only people who have it are those who were allowed to make a purchase at the launch event of the unit.

We expect the device to get available markets this June, and then, we can have a better idea of what it will go for on the shelves.

OnePlus 7 Pro Best Alternatives

If you can resist all the appeal of the OnePlus 7 Pro, the next in line for you would be their OnePlus 7. Although this sounds like a step-down, the standard version packs quite the punch too.

If you consider the fact that OnePlus only makes flagship devices, you would think the same too.
