Oppo A3 Official Teaser Images Released Ahead of Launch

New images shared by Oppo have revealed the design of the upcoming Oppo A3 and it looks very similar to the Chinese version of the Oppo A3 Pro. Oppo is getting ready to officially unveil the non-Pro version of the A3 in China, with a teaser already posted on Weibo.

The Oppo A3 is set to be officially announced on July 2 at 14:30 local time in China. It will be 7.15mm thin and marketed as “ultra durable” with a slightly curved frame designed to enhance the in-hand feel.

However, unlike the Pro model’s curved screen, the A3 will feature a flat screen. The three color options available are Mountain Stream Green, Aurora Purple, and Quiet Sea Black.

While Oppo hasn’t yet disclosed the A3’s complete specifications, the phone recently appeared in China Telecom’s product library. According to this information, the A3 will sport a 6.7-inch 1080×2412 touchscreen, a 50 MP main camera accompanied by a 2 MP decorative sensor, an 8 MP front-facing camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery. Powering the device will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 or the Snapdragon 695, which are nearly identical according to Qualcomm.

The A3 will come in three RAM/storage configurations: 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. The starting price is expected to be CNY 2,099 in China which is roughly $288 and 410,000 naira in Nigeria based on current exchange rates.
