Oppo’s sub-brand, Realme, has just unveiled the latest addition to its portfolio. This new device, the Realme 3i, basically has the internals of the international Realme 3. This means that it is powered by the MediaTek P60 chipset.
The Realme 3i sports a 6.2-inch IPS HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
On the rear of the device is a dual camera setup. This setup features a 13MP sensor and a 2MP sensor. The 13MP sensor is the primary camera and has an f/1.8 aperture. The 2MP sensor is a depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. This setup is coupled with an LED flash right below. In the waterdrop notch on the front of the device sits a 13MP selfie shooter.
The back of the Realme 3i features the Diamond-cut design as seen in the Realme C2. This design gives the effect of light refraction, adding to the amazing aesthetics of the device.
The Realme 3i’s chipset is coupled with an octa-core CPU. It comes in 3GB and 4GB RAM options with 32GB or 64GB internal storage for you to choose from. It also supports the use of microSD card for added memory.
Powered by Android 9 Pie, this sleek device has the familiar ColorOS 6 as seen on older Realme devices. It is powered by a 4,230mAh battery for you to carry out your activities.
The Realme 3i will be available in Diamond Blue, Red and Black colour options. As at now, we know that it will go on sale in India starting 23rd July.
The 3GB+32GB version is priced at about INR7,999 (roughly 42,000 Naira) at the current exchange rate) while the 4GB+64GB version will set you back about INR9,999 (roughly 52,500 Naira). However, we do not yet have details about the availability and exact pricing in this region.
This sub-brand has definitely come quite a long way since the Realme 1 and we are definitely looking forward to this one.
