Only a few weeks ago, Realme teased its 64MP quad-camera smartphone. At the time, the company did not give details of the date it would be revealed, but now we know.
Yesterday, Realme took to Twitter to announce a “camera innovation event” which will take place on August 8. Realme added that it would reveal “the world’s first 64MP Quad Camera technology on a smartphone.”
Realme has already launched dual-camera smartphones as seen in the “3” series. The company recently revealed the Realme 3i. With this upcoming announcement, it appears that the company is skipping a triple-camera smartphone for now. So far, Realme does not have a triple-camera smartphone, so a quad-camera smartphone would actually be a giant leap.
We do not have all the details about Realme’s quad-camera configuration yet, so you may have to wait. Most likely, we will get all of this at the official announcement next week. This announcement comes only one day after Samsung announces the Exynos 9825 which will take place on August 7.
