A few weeks ago, Redmi teased a 64MP smartphone camera. Now, the Chinese brand has made the camera a reality on the Redmi Note 8 Pro.
Redmi has just launched the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro. These devices come as successors to the Redmi Note 7 series. Even the Note 7 series smartphones were impressive in themselves.
The Redmi Note 8 is a nice phone with decent specifications, but the Redmi Note 8 pro is the first officially announced smartphone in the world with a 64MP camera.
Redmi Note 8 Features and Specifications
The Redmi Note 8 comes with a 6.3″ LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution. It has a design that is quite sleek. There is a notch on the front of the device, housing the selfie camera.
The device runs on a Snapdragon 655 chipset, based on the 11nm process. It has four Kryo 260 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and another four clocked at 1.8GHz.
One of the important factors that buyers check out before purchasing a smartphone is the camera. The Redmi Note 8 does not disappoint in this regard. It comes with a quad-camera setup on the rear. The main shooter is a 48MP camera with the latest Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor. Others are an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP dedicated macro-camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front sits a 13MP selfie camera.
The Redmi Note 8 comes with a 4,000mAh battery and supports up to 18W charging speeds. It has a USB-C port and comes with the 3.5mm audio jack.
