Samsung has just released a new addition to its Galaxy Tab A series. This new addition, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is an 8-inch entry-level tablet with specifications that are not very exciting to deep smartphone enthusiasts.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A model for this year, and it was unveilled on Friday, July 5 2019. This device can easily be considered a budget device, considering its specifications.

The device comes with 2GB of RAM and has 32GB of internal storage, and supports microSD cards of up to 512GB. Its 8-inch display has a resolution of 2000×800 with an aspect ratio of 16:10.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) runs an OS based on Android 9.0 and is powered by the Snapdragon 425 chipset. It has a 5,100mAh battery and offers stereo speakers. The form factor of the tablet is expected to promote one-handed usage.

Coming with a metallic unibody, the device will be sold in black and silver colour variants.

As at now, we do not yet know when or where the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) will be sold or what the price will be as Samsung has not yet specified these.
