Samsung, on Thursday, launched the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), a phone that has seen so many leaks and rumors out to the public over the past few weeks. The launch event took place in Kuala Lumpur. The fact that the Galaxy A9 (2018) is the “world’s first rear quad camera” smartphone was the biggest highlight of the launch event. This means that on the rear alone, it comes with four separate cameras. This is an advancement over the recently launched Galaxy A7 (2018), which features a triple rear camera setup.

Asides from the camera setup, the Galaxy A9 also comes with some pretty amazing features and specifications, one of which is the presence of up to 8GB of RAM. This is a big difference from the original Samsung Galaxy A9 that was launched in 2015.

The phone employs the Face Unlock technology. It also comes with Bixby Assistant and Samsung Pay. The starting price of the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is EUR 599 (about 251,000 Naira) and GBP 549 (about 263,000 Naira). However, the exact price it will go for in Nigeria is not yet known.
