Samsung Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro Features Review

Samsung has launched its latest Galaxy Buds3 series, introducing innovative features and a new design. The standout feature of these new earbuds is the “blades” which users can pinch to control playback and swipe to adjust the volume.

The Buds3 models share the same dust and water resistance – IP57 for just the buds and not the bud case (up from IPX2 on the Buds2 and IPX7 on the Buds2 Pro). They are available in Grey and White color options.

It is equipped with machine learning model that will help out with noise coming from the other end when making calls. According Samsung, the device has been trained to recreate a natural-sounding voice, even if the audio comes from a noisy environment. With the Super-Wideband feature, the Buds can transmit voice at 16kHz, double what normal Bluetooth buds can achieve.

Galaxy Buds3 Pro: Advanced Features and Design

The Galaxy Buds3 Pro come with exclusive Blade Lights, a customizable light strip running down the edge of the blades. You can personalize the lighting style with the Wearable app which is quite interesting.

Key features of the Galaxy Buds3 Pro include:

Audio: 2-way speakers with 6.1mm planar tweeters and 10.5mm dynamic drivers, dual amps, and an updated SSC codec for improved sound quality.
Noise Cancellation: Active Noise Cancellation with microphones that monitor the environment, featuring Active Noise Control, Siren Detect, and Voice Detect to pipe in ambient sound as needed.
Battery Life: Each bud has a 53mAh battery, providing up to 6 hours of listening with ANC enabled (26 hours with the case) and up to 7 hours without ANC (30 hours with the case).

The standard Galaxy Buds3 also offer impressive features, including:

Battery Life: 48mAh batteries in each bud, offering up to 5 hours of listening with ANC enabled (24 hours with the case) and up to 6 hours without ANC (30 hours with the case).
Galaxy AI Features: Both models support Galaxy AI features like Interpreter mode, which provides real-time translation using Listening mode with your Galaxy phone.

Pricing and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro are priced at $250 which is roughly around N370,000, while the standard Galaxy Buds3 are available for $180 that translates to around N288,000 in Nigeria, reflecting a $30 increase over the previous Buds2 models.
