Of the new Samsung Galaxy J units we are to expect in the market this year, we now have a leaked poster of the Galaxy J6 (2018) to confirm at least one of the four. According to all the information that has been gathered so far, this device will fit in perfectly with midrange units and should be offered in many countries. Expected to come in two variants at the end, we already know that the official introduction will be in India on the 25th May.
From the poster in question, some details of the device came to the fore. One of such is the confirmation of a 5.6-inch screen with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
The resolution is not exactly HD at 720 x 1480 but it still gets the job done. Going under the hood, an Exynos 7870 chipset will be at the heart of affairs. Users would then be given the option to pick between one that carries 3GB RAM or the unit that takes on as much as 4GB.
Depending on what version a user goes for, they will enjoy either 32GB or 64GB internal storage space. Irrespective of what model is chosen, there will be a 13MP main camera with an 8MP selfie snapper on the front. The specs don’t mention this but the image does show a selfie flash on the front.
It would be poor if Samsung didn’t launch this one with the Android Oreo, so we get the 8.0 version out of the box. To cap it all off, a 3000mAh battery is inn there to keep the lights up.
That is all we know of the Galaxy J6 (2018) for now. By May 25 though, we would have had all the possible specs, availability and pricing details for this midranger. Stay glued!
