Over the weekend, Samsung unveiled their latest entry into the Galaxy J series –Galaxy J7 Plus– which has now gone official in Thailand. Samsung Galaxy J7 -can also be called Galaxy C7 (2017) in some regions- is now the second smartphone from Samsung to carry two cameras at the back, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was the first.
Another highlight of the new Galaxy J7 Plus is the provision of dual WhatsApp accounts which means that the user can have two WhatsApp accounts running on the device at the same time. This might be in response to the new Business account feature in WhatsApp, so you can operate your WhatsApp business account and normal account easily from one device.
Samsung Galaxy J7+ Specifications
The Galaxy J7 plus boasts Android 7.1 Nougat and comes with 4GB RAM, inbuilt storage capacity is a 32GB ROM with an option to expand to up to 256GB using Micro SD card via SIM 2 slot.
The phone packs a Mediatek Helio P20 chipset on board with Octa-core 2.4 GHz cortex processor. Galaxy J7 Plus has a super AMOLED screen that measures 5.5 inches with 1920 by 1080 pixels resolution (401 PPI).
The dual back camera setup uses a combination of 13MP and 5MP cameras with single LED flash, the front has a 16MP camera with its own LED flash.
The Galaxy J7 Plus body is made with aluminium material, a 3000 mAh battery is packed inside. Available colors includes; Gold, Black and Pink. Pricing and Availability
The Galaxy J7 Plus was launched with a price tag of 390 USD which shakes off about 142,000 naira in Nigeria. The phones is currently available via pre-order.
