The South Korean company, Samsung is said to be in works for a new smartphone that is currently known as Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus.
In May 2018, the company released the Samsung Galaxy J4 and Samsung Galaxy J6. Normally, the J-series smartphones don’t usually get bigger variant like the A-series and S-series. The Samsung Galaxy A6 comes with a bigger variant called the Galaxy A6 Plus.
But it seems Samsung is taking a new approach to their budget series now. The budget segment of the market is one which Samsung are determined to be successful in. Their latest flagships, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus are among the best smartphones in the market.
The firmware files of Samsung phone, which is codenamed “J6 Plus LTE” was spotted by a developer.
According to xda-developers, the Samsung Galaxy J6 will get a plus version soon. It could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset. Incase you don’t know, the Samsung Galaxy J6 runs on in-house Exynos 7870 chipset.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy J6 has also been rebranded as Galaxy On6, which is strictly for online sales in India. The only difference between the Samsung Galaxy J6 and the Samsung Galaxy On6 is their memory options. The Samsung Galaxy On6 comes with only a 4GB memory. While the Samsung Galaxy J6 is available in both 3GB and 4GB memory options.
