Sony is already working on its next flagship after a poor third-quarter sales. The company is reportedly working on the Xperia 3, and some of the first images of the device have surfaced online.
The Sony Xperia 3 was pictured in a render that showed a flat front screen. The interesting part of the device render, however, was the back – we see a curved back panel. The render also shows the device featuring a side fingerprint sensor.
This design brings back memories of the Xperia Arc. If Indeed, Sony goes ahead with the design, then lovers of the Xperia Arc will probably enjoy the feel of the Xperia 3.
According to the renders, the Sony Xperia 3 is expected to come with a notchless CinemaWide display. This display will have a resolution of 21:9, and there will be no pop-up mechanism. The company will most likely retain the use of OLED on the display. The phone will come with three cameras and more Video Creator features.
We expect the Xperia 3 to come with the Snapdragon 865 chipset. The phone will likely be released in February 2020 with 5G support.
