The Sony Xperia XZ3 is still yet to be announced but preorders for the phone are already being accepted by MobileFun – a retailing outlet in the UK. The same website has also stocked its e-store with some cases of the said phone which has done well to give us glimpse into what the final device is going to look like.
From the design, there seems to be much in common between the upcoming unit and the Xperia XZ2 already in the market. That is to include the glass construction that the former unit features and the way the fingerprint sensor was placed on the back. More than that, the XZ3 is poised to have a dual camera arrangement to keep the fingerprint sensor company.
According to all we have been hearing so far, the XZ3 will ship with a 5.7-inch screen sporting the latest 18:9 aspect ratio and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset that will be run by a massive 6GB of RAM. This RAM allocation will be paired to 64GB and kept alive by a 3420mAh battery.
There is no certainty on the issue of cameras yet but we believe there will be a 19MP + 12MP arrangement on the back while the front will benefit from a standalone 13MP snapper.
Of course, these are not the official images of the phone so don’t be surprised if the final design is a little different from what has been shown here. With this kind of listing already out in the wild though, it is just a matter of time before Sony completes the official unveiling at IFA by the end of August.
