Vivo has just launched the Vivo U1 in the Chinese market. The phone sports a 6.2-inch display and is powered by the Snapdragon 439 SoC. It has a waterdrop-shaped notch with an 8MP selfie camera on the front. On the rear sits a dual camera setup and a fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo U1 is a dual-SIM phone running on Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Its 6.2-inch LCD display has a resolution of 720×1520 pixels. On the rear of the device sits a 13MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, aligned vertically. It features an 8MP camera on the front with features including Panorama, AR shoot, and Beauty.
The device comes in three memory variants – 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, 3GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. Internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.

The Vivo U1 comes with a price tag of CNY 799 (roughly 43,000 Naira) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant, CNY 999 (roughly 54,000 Naira) for the 3GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant, and CNY 1,199 (roughly 64,500 Naira) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant.
