Vivo Y28e and Y28s Officially Launched in India

Vivo Y28e and it’s quite similar counterpart, Vivo Y28s have been launched in the Indian market with budget price tags and 5G network. They both feature a 6.56-inch 720 by 1612 90 Hz LCD touchscreen with a peak brightness of 840 nits.

On the inside, the Y28e comes in 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage space options, while the Y28s is available in 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM variants, all with 128GB of storage space.They are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC and come with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging

A major difference can be spotted in the main camera department where the Y28s features a 50 MP Sony IMX852 sensor, while the Y28e is equipped with a 13 MP camera of unspecified make. Both models include a 2 MP secondary decorative sensor. For selfies, the Y28s offers an 8 MP front camera, whereas the Y28e has a 5 MP front shooter.

Both models are IP64 certified for dust and splash resistance, the Y28s has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button but the Y28e lacks a fingerprint sensor altogether.

The Y28e is available in Vintage Red and Breeze Green. It is priced at INR 10,999(around 135 USD and N206,000 in Nigeria) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model, and INR 11,999 (around 145 USD and N226,000 in Nigeria) for the version with 128GB of storage.

The Y28s comes in Vintage Red and Twinkling Purple. Its pricing starts at INR 13,999 (around 170 USD and N252,000 in Nigeria) for the 4GB RAM variant, goes up to INR 15,499 (roughly 185 USD and N267,900 in Nigeria) for the 6GB RAM version, and tops out at INR 16,999 (around 203 USD and N298,000 in Nigeria) for the 8GB RAM model.

Both models will be available later today on Vivo’s Indian online store, Flipkart, and through partner retailers.
