Xiaomi Mi 6X – the successor to the MI 5X from last year – is expected to launch soon. In light of that, we have had some leaks of the device and most of what has been said are things to expect. Such specs are the formation of a dual camera on the back and a tall screen to match. However, a new leak confirms that at the heart of the operations would be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset – one of the less popular SoCs from the chipmaker.
Besides that, the leak also confirms that the Xiaomi Mi 6X will have a 5.99-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood will be such configurations as 4GB RAM and a 64GB ROM. In addition to the chipset suggested above, an Adreno 506 GPU will be responsible for handling the graphics.
On the back, there would be a dual camera setup with sensors rated at 20MP and 8MP. On the front though, the OEM keeps the selfie snapper to one (but big) 20MP sensor. To cap it all off, the smartphone is expected to roll out of the box with Android 8.1 preinstalled.
Of course, that would have been adapted to the company’s software skin which is most likely to be MIUI 9.5 at that time.
