Xiaomi Mi 6X specs leak on TENAA, and it is a Redmi Note 5 lookalike

We have had renders and some sightings in the past but nothing confirms the truth behind a coming Xiaomi Mi 6X than the spotting we had on TENAA earlier today. From everything that has leaked about the device earlier, there is some consistency in the information offered.

According to the listing information, the device will have a model number of M1804D2SE and use a 5.99-inch screen. The smartphone looks very much like the Redmi Note 5 Pro that was sold as just the Redmi Note 5 in China. On the back, the vertical arrangement of the dual cameras is exactly the same.

The semblance is even shown in the placement of the device’s fingerprint scanner. The notable difference on the back has to be in the arrangement of antenna bands and nothing more.

From the TENAA images, we see the Mi 6X flaunting its red paintjob. However, we expect that there would be more colour options available from the time of launch. In all, the phone will be powered by a rather small 2160mAh battery. For now, that is all we can say on the smartphone.

If anything, though, a TENAA certification indicates that the device is close to launch so we should expect some more teasers and leaks soon.
