Good things are soon coming to the lovers of Xiaomi, especially those that have been waiting for the launch of one of the company’s latest units – the Mi 8 Explorer. According to official information now, the company will start to sell the unit from the 30th of July. Of course, this is not the official launch of the unit. Thus, we don’t know how many units will be available for the flash sale. If you also want to cop one of the units, you would have to act fast.
Part of the selling points that this unit brings on board is the fingerprint scanner that has been put under the display. Note that this was first achieved by Vivo and has been something even Samsung had been pursuing for a while now.
Besides that, Xiaomi also made sure the back panel is partly translucent, adding a bit of aesthetics that can’t be designed onto the back panel. Another thing you would come to love on the smartphone is the Face Unlock solution which is very similar to what is obtainable on the iPhone X.
The phones that are going on sale are supposed to be the units that have 8GB of RAM and a 128GB internal storage space to match. However, we have it on some rumours that there will be 4GB/ 64GB and 6GB/ 128GB configurations to choose from.
The bad news so far is that the phone is yet to leave the shores of China. If you are outside the country, it might be a good time to contact someone you may know there to make the order happen for you. Even though it is bound to leave the shores of the Asian country at some point, that time is yet unknown.
