Xiaomi Poco X8 Power shares a lot of its look with the Xiaomi Poco C95 Pro: identical back camera region, glass up front, plastic back and frame, and that same thick everyday slab silhouette instead of a skinny flagship cut. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the face, IP68/IP69K sealing plus a claimed 3m drop rating back the build, and the phone sits at 229g and 8.6mm.
Black and Yellow cover the color sheet. An under-display optical fingerprint handles unlocks, infrared is on board for TV remotes, and extras like 27W reverse wired charging and bypass charging round out the daily kit.

For display, the Poco X8 Power 5G uses a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with up to 68B colors, a 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, and peak brightness up to about 3,500 nits. Resolution is 1280 x 2772 at roughly 447 ppi behind Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
It is powered by the Qualcomm SM6850 Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 (4 nm) with an octa-core setup (4×2.6 GHz Cortex-A78 and 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) and an Adreno 812 GPU. Software is Android 16 with HyperOS 3 and a promise of up to four major OS updates.
Memory is 8GB RAM with UFS 2.2 storage in 128GB or 256GB cuts. There is no microSD slot, so pick the capacity you need at purchase.
The rear camera records up to 4K30 with gyro-EIS and OIS on the main lens, plus 1080p at 30 or 60fps. The 32MP front camera also does 4K30, which is enough for clean selfies and video calls.
Stills use a 50MP f/1.5 wide with PDAF and OIS plus an 8MP ultrawide and LED flash. Daylight should look solid for the class; night work leans on the bright main aperture and software more than a telephoto.
Battery is the headline: a 10,000mAh Si/C cell with 100W wired charging (PD3.0 and PPS), plus 27W reverse wired and bypass charging for gaming while plugged in. Expect multi-day light use or a full heavy day without hunting a mid-afternoon top-up.
Poco X8 Power Price in Nigeria
The Poco X8 Power 5G goes for about 507,963 Naira (383 USD). That is midrange money for a 10,000mAh battery phone, so weigh it against other big-cell options before you buy.
If you want alternatives in the same shopping basket, the Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G is a strong endurance rival, the Poco F9 Pro 5G steps up the silicon and thinner feel, and the Honor X80 Pro Max is another midrange option once local stock clears.
