Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 8T will support 18W fast charging

The Redmi Note 8T will be recently passed Taiwan’s NCC certification. This means that the device will almost definitely be unveiled soon.

Already, when we talk about low-end and mid-range smartphones, we cannot overlook the Redmi series. Talk about design and decent specs, and the Redmi series show up. In fact, the series has built itself as one of the leaders in that category.

With the Redmi Note 8T passing Taiwan’s NCC certification, we now have some of its configuration information. Before now, we had information that the device would sport a 6.3-inch screen with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels.

The device will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with 4GB and 6GB memory variants. We also expect that it will come with 64GB or 128GB internal storage configuration.

The Redmi Note 8T will come with a quad-camera setup on the rear. This setup will come in a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP combination. On the front will be a 13MP selfie camera.

The device will come with a 4,000mAh battery. According to the leaked Taiwan NCC certification list, the battery will support 18W fast charging. The certification list shows the Redmi Note 8T supporting 18W fast charging with 5V/3A, 9V/2A, and 12V/1.5A output power.
